All things Dunny complete! We now have fully functional toilets...

Last weekend there was a working bee to cement the water tank stands and toilet block in to the ground. Now the plumber can connect the toilet block up to the septic system.

Richard with camera in hand, took some aerial shots of the field.

Club house is now up to lock up stage & fencing is finished!

Our new entrance gate to the field.

The slab for the club house has been poured and 2/3rds of the fence erected.

Following the photos below, the proposed new strip was slashed to find the slope was too steep so a redesign of the layout was performed. The temporary grass strip will remain with the new sealed strip to run parrallel. The club house and carpark were moved back.

On the 19th April I was transiting Somerton for Gunnedah in a Cessna 172 and had camera in hand.

Our newest member Austin was making sure Joe dug new holes to take the new trees we will be planting to replace the old ones, of which most were rotten.

Over recent weekends, Joe has been removing trees which would have jumped out and grabbed your plane!

Carpark and Pit area. Eventually this temporary strip will be used as the carpark once the new runway is levelled and graded.
